Booking an airport taxi is a simple procedure which can be done from anywhere in the world. Taxis can be booked via the internet, by telephone or fax to or from any of the five main airports in London including the city’s major airport, Heathrow.
London’s taxis and iconic red buses are known throughout the world. Together with its Underground, London prides itself on its commitment to public transport, including taxis, which enables the life of the city to flow smoothly.
Vehicles can be booked via a round the clock online booking service allowing passengers flexibility in their transfers. Services extend to all UK major cities as well as London. Internet booking systems are protected with 128 Bit Secure Sockets Layer to ensure customer privacy. All Heathrow Airport taxi companies are fully licensed and drivers CRB cleared.
TYPES OF VEHICLES
Heathrow Airport taxi vehicles can be either Saloons which carry 3 passengers and 3 suitcases, MPVs which carry 5 passengers and 5 suitcases or Minibuses which carry 8 passengers and 8 suitcases. Executive cars are also available. Business Class customers have the option of luxury cars with free wireless internet, free laptop usage, complimentary refreshments and newspapers. Passengers who require baby or child seats should make this request when booking. All vehicles will be the latest models and there is a non smoking policy in operation. Vehicles all have air conditioning as standard for use in warm weather and heaters for cooler days.
INTERNET
Passengers who require wireless internet during their journeys should advise the company of this beforehand and arrangements will be put in place.
PAYMENT METHODS
All major credit and debit cards are accepted as payment methods. Prices quoted will be a fixed price with no added extras.
MEET AND GREET SERVICES
Meet and Greet services are offered inside the airport itself. Waiting time is free and there are no hidden charges. Flights are tracked and, if a flight happens to be delayed, there is no charge for extra time involved. Passengers are met by their chosen companies at the various terminals as per below:
Terminal 1: Meet at the information desk which is located in the arrival lounge. As passengers emerge from the arrival gates, they will see their chauffeur waiting with their name written on a sign.
Terminal 2: Meet in the arrival lounge. The chauffeur will wait behind the barriers with passenger names written on a company board.
Terminal 3: Meet at the information desk. On emerging from arrival gates, passengers will see the information desk straight ahead where the chauffeur will be waiting with passenger names on the company board.
Terminal 4: Meet at the information desk to the left of the ground floor area. The chauffeur will be waiting with passenger names on the company board.
Terminal 5: This terminal has two exits. On emerging from either one, Caff Costa is ahead at the front of the arrival gates. The chauffeur will be waiting here with passenger names on the company board.
TRANSFERS TO CENTRAL LONDON AND BEYOND
Taxis regularly take passengers to Oxford Street, Piccadilly Circus, Westminster and all other major parts of central London. Passengers wishing to travel further afield should notify the company beforehand.
